Sounds of the Summer

While the boom of the bass drum has slowly shimmered away in Symphony Hall, all the members of The Phoenix Symphony—both the performers and those behind the scenes—have been ramping up for the exciting 2009/10 Season. Proving to be the most exhilarating yet—The Phoenix Symphony team is working round the clock to keep the Valley on the edge of their seats! Throughout the summer your Symphony’s finest will be checking in with their plans during the heat!

A trio of Phoenix Symphony members: Robert Simonds, violin; Mark Dix, viola; and Peter Anderegg, cello; found themselves keeping cool, playing on the Valley's METRO Light Rail representing the Downtown Chamber Series and performing for the public. Various departments of The Phoenix Symphony will also be giving a sneak peek to what they’re doing this summer to prepare for the exciting season ahead!
