Enemy Slayer brings its story to the Colorado Music Festival

Each summer, Music Director Michael Christie directs the 6-week Colorado Music Festival in the city of Boulder. This year, he brought a part of The Phoenix Symph0ny's season with him with a performance of Enemy Slayer: A Navajo Oratorio. Joining him were 40 members of The Phoenix Symphony Chorus as well as the composition's three collaborating creators, Mark Grey, Laura Tohe and Deborah O'Grady. The result was a powerful weekend of performances as told by the review in Colorado's Daily Camera. For more info about Michael Christie's summer with the CO Music Fest, check out the Press section of the festival's website. And if you happened to be lucky enough to be in the more temperate Colorado weather to see the performance, let us know what you thought!
