As part of the Symphony For The Schools concerts on Feb. 24 and 25, we are pleased to announce the return of the"Our Arizona" Essay Contest!
  • One 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winner will be chosen from each grade level category and will have their names recognized at the concert!
  • The 1st prize winner will be invited to read an excerpt of their essay on stage during the concert.

Topics range anywhere from what makes Arizona special, to animal and plant preservation, to what could be improved in Arizona if the student was Governor!

As you will see below, some Valley third and fourth graders have already submitted their essays to The Phoenix Symphony!

We are so excited to see what other great works will come from students ages 3rd grade to 8th!
