Target Music in the Park Wrap-Up

Target and The Phoenix Symphony's annual Target Music in the Park event presents a great opportunity to engage the Phoenix community and grows bigger and bigger each year. While the reporters from the Associated Press were most captivated by the Crooning Canine Contest, we made sure to cover the rest of the event. Check out the Cliff's Notes version below (video requires flash player plug-in):

What a fun video! I love it that the symphony is starting to make videos more often. It really adds to the excitement of an event to know that you may be caught on film! Or in this case your dog...

Last night I attended a free concert at South Mountain Community College. My goddaughter's school was performing. Since their teachers are members of the Phx Symphony string section, they performed too and it was so beautiful, I wish they could have played more. It was such a great show.

The members that are teaching the students are doing such a great job, and the best part watching the students play side by side with the members of the phx symphony. I think it is a really wonderful thing that the Phoenix Symphony is doing.
