Promoting the 21st Century Learning Program

A quartet of Phoenix Symphony musicians appeared early on Channel 12 News this morning to talk about the 21st Century Learning Program which pairs artists with under-served students in Phoenix District 1 schools. This will be the program's final year unless new funding can be found. Check out the interview and the performance below! Quartet members included Dian D'Avanzo, Dumitru Lazarescu, Mark Dix and Peter Anderegg.

From the L.A. Philharmondic Association:
One of today's uniquely gifted conductors, GUSTAVO DUDAMEL continues to thrill international audiences and bring the highest level of musicianship to orchestras worldwide. His remarkable ability to communicate and become one with the orchestra takes musicians and listeners alike on a memorable journey.

Has anyone been able to find an on-line review of Maestro Christie's most recent gig with the KBS Symphony Orchestra in Seoul, South Korea? Maybe TPS management can share such information in these blogs so we get to see what other big-time cities think of our Music Director.

The only thing I could find was the KBS's website where his name is spelled: 지휘 마이클 크리스티
