The Wonders of Creation

Performed since the late 18th century, Haydn’s The Creation is found in the hands of The Virginia G. Piper Music Director Michael Christie, The Phoenix Symphony and fellow members of the Phoenix Symphony Chorus. As another rich bonus, the cast is joined with three world renowned soloists: Celena Shafer, soprano; Gregory Kunde, tenor; and Philip Cutlip, baritone (pictured); which will surely dub this weekend’s worth of concerts “must-see.”

The creative festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. in Symphony Hall; encore presentations are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and at American Lutheran Church in Sun City, on Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are going fast—come experience Haydn’s compositional genius in true orchestral and choral form!
